Die Comic Con nähert sich und es wird Zeit sich darauf einzustellen.
Viele von euch werden der Comic Con gespannt entgegen sehen, da sie vermuten Battlefront 3 angekündigt zu sehen. Andere freuen sich auf diese, weil die Comic Con der Nirvana eines jeden inneren Geeks ist. Ich möchte mit euch ein wenig nach vorne blicken und gucken, was die Comic Con alles zu bieten hat.
Gleich zu Anfang bedeutet dies natürlich auch, den Fokus auf Battlefront 3 und Star Wars zu legen, das liegt auf unserer Seite schließlich nahe und dafür möchte ich euch ein wenig in die Welt der Comic Con entführen. Jedes Jahr treffen sich tausende von Menschen in San Diego, um ihrem inneren Nerd freien Lauf zu lassen und unter Science Fiction Fans hat Star Wars Kultstatus erlangt. So ist es nicht verwunderlich, dass es auch einige Präsentationen dazu geben wird. Grundsätzlich lässt sich die Comic Con in 2 Bereiche Teilen. Die Stände der Aussteller (meist Firmen, oder Projekte), auf Englisch Booths, und die Panels, also die Präsentationen.
Die Booths sind durchgängig geöffnet und es wird auch an denen in regelmäßigen Abständen präsentiert. Zum Beispiel lässt sich bei der SW:TOR Box das Spiel anspielen. Wirklich interessant sind jedoch die Panels, die praktisch als Pressekonferenzen mit Faneinlass zu deuten sind. Die Präsentierenden stellen etwas vor und grundästzlich folgt am Ende das Q & A, die Fragerunde an die Präsentierenden.
Dort ist es am wahrscheinlichsten, dass Battlefront angekündigt werden könnte. Besonders interessant sind da zwei Panels.

Der erste Termin ist ein klassisches Panel, dieses mal zu Star Wars Kinect. Es wird angekündigt, dass eine aufregende Ankündigung enthüllt wird.
Die Fan Movie Awards versprechen zwar nicht auf Anhieb eine Ankündigung, jedoch wird in einem Ballsaal der George Lucas Selects Award für die besten Fanfilme verliehen. Ein Ballsaal voller Star Wars Fans und ein Star Wars Preis, das könnte eine Ankündigung doch sicherlich einrahmen. Was nun am wahrscheinlichsten ist, lässt sich nicht sagen, doch das Kinect Panel und der Fanpreis, die beide am Donnerstag sind, sind wohl die wahrscheinlichsten Ankündigungtermine für Battlefront 3.
Wir möchten uns jedoch ein wenig mehr mit der Comic Con beschäftigen und verweisen deshalb auf unseren Begleitthread. Dort könnt ihr ein wenig mehr zur Comic-Con erfahren. Wir versuchen die Frage zu beantworten, ob wir im 'Century of the Nerd' leben.
